The Matrix IV - or - Neo, The Chick

Do you want to see the matrix again? Well, this is not going to be anywhere near as cool as the Matrix, but it'll try. It's got some chick (I have no idea who it is, maybe she's from Lost or something) and she likes to beat up humans becuase she hates them, but get this, she's the good guy! Anyway, the trailer even has Clubbed to Death by Rob D, from the Matrix soundtrack, playing in the background --- I love that song! Don't waste your time, go watch the Matrix again (the first one).

My Rating: 4/10 - Cool special effects, bad acting, bad story, bad ending.

the only reason i'm looking forward to that movie is because it was directed by kurt wimmer. anyone who has seen his "equilibrium" knows he has a pretty great eye for action scenes. anyone who hasn't seen equilibrium should probably see it since it's pretty good. it's got a derivitive story, but it stars the great christian bale, and has the aforementioned great action.

you should check it out sometime ben if you haven't.

"Great" Christian Bale? I'm not so sure that he deserves that title quite yet. Harrison Ford, Al Pacino, and Robert DeNiro have proven their greatness. I don't think Bale is quite there yet, but maybe soon.

Two points: First, Newsies...'nough said. Second, voice in Pocahontas... more like "not-so-great-afterall" Christian Bale

define greatness.

no christain bale has not yet proved himself to be the next jimmy cagney or jack nicolson, but compare him to almost any other actor his age and, yes, he's pretty great. empire of the sun, equilibrium, american psycho, and batman begins is a nice track record to start out with.

as for newsies, well, i happen to remember that a large number of crums quite enjoyed that movie when they were younger, and, heck, the great (yes-great!) mel gibson lent his voice to pochohantes, so having your voice in pochohantes doesn't necessarily make you non-great.

that does suck that it stars the resident evil chic though, and that it's rated pg-13
